Once upon a time, my journey took an unconventional turn. It began with an immersive seven-year dive into theatre, spanning high school and earning a BA degree.
This extensive period was dedicated to mastering storytelling, understanding human emotions/behaviour, and creating immersive experiences, which set the stage for my unexpected transition into UX design.
After leaving the theatrical stage, I ventured into the world of luxury retail, where I closely observed customer behaviour, delved into visual merchandising, and witnessed design's transformative impact on user interactions.
This experience sparked my curiosity to explore better ways to streamline workflows for myself and my colleagues.
It also deepened my desire to develop greater empathy for clients and ensure that their needs are met with thoughtful and practical solutions.
My journey continued at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I pursued an MSc in Management of Innovation, sharpening my strategic thinking and project management skills.
During this time, a hidden passion for creating a sustainable strategy for UX design emerged, perfectly aligning with the excitement of UX designers.
While working at a dynamic startup, I applied my creative prowess to contribute meaningfully. This experience added a practical layer to my theoretical knowledge as I navigated the fast-paced environment of a startup, honing my skills in crafting user-centric designs and solutions.
The thrill of bringing innovative ideas to life in this challenging setting fueled my passion for creating engaging, seamless user experiences and products.
